Ingredients
- Onion- 3 Medium Size
- Curd- 1 Large Size Bowl
- Ginger and Garlic Paste- 1 Tbsp (Coarsed)
- Green Chili – 2-3 Pieces (Fine Chopped)
- Asafoetida Powder (Hing Powder)- 1 Tbsp
- Mustard Seed- 1 Tbsp
- Cumin Seed- 1 Tbsp
- Turmeric Powder-1 Small Tbsp
- Coriander Powder- 1 Tbsp
- Red Chili Powder- ½ Tbsp
- Cumin Powder (Jeera Powder)- 1 Tbsp
- Salt- 1 Tbsp
- Oil- 2 Tbsp
- Curry leaves- 10-12 leaves
- Coriander Leaves- 1 Small Bowl
STEP-1
Prepare Onions, Curd, and Tempering Ingredients
To make delicious dahi pyaz ki sabji, we will cut the onions into medium pieces and prepare a smooth paste by beating the curd and also take out the tempering ingredients in a bowl and prepare it.
STEP-2
Tempering With Cumin Seeds and Mustard Seeds
Now we will put a pan on the gas and put 2 tbsp oil in it. Further, we will add mustard seeds and cumin seeds to the oil as soon as it’s heated.

Add Asafoetida, Curry Leaves, Green Chilies, and Ginger-Garlic Paste
Now as soon as our cumin and mustard seeds crackle, we will add 1 tbsp asafoetida and also add curry leaves and green chillies and cook on low flame for 1 minute. Now we will add ginger garlic paste to it and cook it on low flame till it turns light brown.

Cook Onions and Add Spices
Friends, here our ginger garlic paste is also cooked well, so we will add medium sized chopped onion into it and cook it for 5-7 minutes on low flame. Then add 1 Small Tbsp Turmeric Powder, 1 Small Tbsp Coriander Powder, 1 Tbsp Cumin Powder, ½ Tbsp Red Chilli Powder and 1 Tbsp Salt and mix it well and cook the spices along with the onion for 2-3 minutes.
