Ingredients
- Ghee- Half Cup/ 6-7 Tbsp
- Sugar- Half Cup
- Dry Fruits- 1 Small Bowl
- Semolina (Suji)- 1 Cup
- Milk- 1 and ½ Cup
- Water- 2 Cup
- Green Cardamom (Elaichi)- 1-2 Tbsp/ 5-6 Pieces
STEP-1
Roasting the Suji for a Perfect Suji Ka Halwa
To make suji ka halwa, we will put a pan on the gas. And as soon as the pan gets hot we will add ghee to it. Now after adding ghee we will add suji to it and roast it on low flame till it gets nicely brown.
Friends it will take approximately 15-20 minutes to roast the sooji so do not hurry while roasting the suji because if the suji is not roasted well then it will affect its taste also. Here we have to keep stirring the sooji while roasting it so that it gets roasted properly completely.
STEP-2
Preparing the Milk Mixture with Cardamom and Sugar
Friends, till the time our suji gets roasted, we will keep 2 cups of milk and 2 cups of water in a vessel to heat and then along with that we will grind cardamom, make its powder and add it.
As soon as the milk starts boiling, we will add sugar to it and boil the milk on medium flame for 2-3 minutes. Friends, by boiling the milk and adding it to the semolina, the semolina becomes very tasty.

Adding Dry Fruits in Suji
Now, when our milk comes to a boil well and the sugar will also get mixed then we will turn off the gas flame. And here our suji (semolina) is also roasted well then we will add dry fruits in it and cook it on low flame for 2-3 minutes.

Combining Suji with Milk Mixture
Guys, we cannot cook dry fruits much here, so after 2-3 minutes we will add our boiled milk in it and while mixing it well with the sooji with the help of a spatula, we will cook it on low medium flame for 7-8 minutes.
