MAKE MEETHI SEVIYAN KHEER (VERMICELLI RECIPE) IN JUST 6 STEPS

 

Ingredients

  • Vermicelli – 100 gram
  • Milk- 1 Large Glass
  • Water- 1 Large Glass
  • Sugar- 4 Tbsp or As per requirement
  • Green Cardamom (Elaichi)- 5-6 Piece or one Tbsp Powder
  • Dates (Khajur)- 4-5 Piece Finely Chopped
  • Almonds (Badam)- 7-8 Piece (Cut into Small Pieces)
  • Fox Nuts (Makhane)- 8-10 Piece 
  • Raisins (Kishmish)- 7-8 Piece 
  • Cashews (Kaju)- 7-8 Piece (Cut into Small Pieces)
  • Ghee- 3-4 Tbsp

STEP-1
Lightly Roast Dry Fruits in Ghee

To make Meethi Seviyan Kheer, first of all we will put ghee in a pan and as soon as the ghee becomes hot, we will lightly roast all our dry fruits and take them out on a plate. Friends, keep in mind that in the low flame of the gas we will roast the dry fruits well for 1 minute. We will not roast our dry fruits too much here.

STEP-2
Roast Vermicelli & Green Cardamom in Ghee on Low-Medium Flame

Now in the same ghee, we will roast our vermicelli & Green Cardamom (Elaichi) well on low medium flame for 4-5 minutes.

STEP-3
Add Water and Stir Roasted Sewai on High Flame

Now when our sewai  is roasted well, we will add one cup of water in it and slowly with the help of a spatula we will keep stirring the seviyan on high flame for 2-3 minutes.

STEP-4
Add Milk & Boil the Semiya Payasam While Stirring Gently

Friends, here our semiya payasam has also become soft, so now we will add milk to it and then let it boil well. Friends, we have to keep stirring the vermicelli gently until it boils properly. This will ensure that the milk will never curdle. Now if you want to make the vermicelli thinner, you can mix it with some water and milk and add it.

Add Sugar and Dry Fruits, Stir Vermicelli on
Medium-Low Flame

Once the vermicelli comes to a good boil, we will add sugar and, with the help of a spatula, stir it on medium to low flame for 2-3 minutes while adding the dry fruits. Guys, after adding dry fruits, we will turn off the gas flame after about a minute.
