  • Split Urad Dal (skinned) – 1 tablespoon

  • Ginger – 2 inches
  • Tamarind – 1 small piece
  • Salt – 1 tablespoon or as per taste
  • Lemon Juice – 1 tablespoon
  • Oil – 2 tablespoons
  • Curry Leaves – 8–10 leaves
  • Mustard Seeds – 1 tablespoon
  • Dry Red Chillies – 2 pieces

Friends, to make this tasty peanut chutney, we’ll start by getting all the ingredients ready. So here we have taken 200 grams peanuts, 4 pieces of green chilli, 1 Tbsp asafoetida, 1 Tbsp urad dal, 7-8 pieces of garlic, about 2 inches of ginger, a small piece of tamarind, along with one tablespoon each of salt and lemon juice.

Alright friends, once all the ingredients are ready, place a pan on the stove. Once the pan is hot, roast the peanuts over a low to medium flame for around 5-6 minutes. Once they have roasted evenly, take them out of the pan and store them in a bowl.

Friends, now place the pan back on the stove and add about 1 tablespoon of oil. When the oil is hot, carefully add a pinch of asafoetida. Now after adding the asafoetida, we will add urad dal and lightly roast it till it becomes light brown.
