(SHAHI TUKDA RECIPE) IN JUST 4 STEPS
Ingredients
- Bread – 4-5 pieces
- Milk – 2 glasses (full cream)
- Water – 2 glasses
- Cardamom powder (Elaichi powder)– 2 tbsp
- Rose petals – 15-20
- Dry fruits – 1 medium bowl
- Sugar – 1 medium-sized bowl
- Yellow food color – 2-3 drops (optional)
- Milk powder – 1 small bowl
- Ghee – 5-6 tablespoons
STEP-1
Preparing Ingredients & Sugar Syrup For Tasty Shahi Tukda

Friends, to make Shahi Tukda, first of all we will prepare all the ingredients. Now when our ingredients are ready, we will make sugar syrup mixture (meethi chashni). Friends, to make meethi chashni, first of all we will put 2 glasses of water in a vessel and then add 6-7 tbsp sugar to it.
Now when our water starts boiling, we will put approximately 1 small spoon of cardamom powder in it and keep boiling the water till the syrup solution is ready. Keep the gas flame on medium for making perfect meethi chashni. Friends, it will take you approximately 15 minutes to make meethi chashni here.
STEP-2
Preparing the Rabri For Shahi Tukda Recipe

Now when our sugar syrup mixture is ready, we will keep it aside in a vessel to cool and then prepare Rabri. So friends, for making Rabri we will put 2 glasses of milk in a vessel. Now as soon as the milk starts boiling we will add 1 small bowl of Milk Powder and 2 tbsp sugar in it. And along with that we will add some rose petals and 1 tbsp cardamom powder in it and cook it for almost 15 minutes on a medium flame.
Friends, now when our milk becomes thick we will add 3-4 drops of yellow colour in it. If you do not want to use yellow colour then you can add saffron or a small pinch of turmeric powder to the Rabri. Now after stirring it for about 5 minutes, we will turn off the gas flame. Friends, we have to keep cooking the milk till it thickens.
STEP-3
Frying the Bread and Assembling Shahi Tukda

Friends, now the rabri is ready, so we will keep it aside to cool and add 5-6 tbsp ghee in a pan. And as soon as the ghee gets hot, we will fry the bread in it from both the sides till it becomes crispy golden brown. Friends, see, our bread has become golden brown. Now we will take it out and cut it in a triangular shape from the middle.
Guys, now when our bread is cut into slices, we will dip them one by one in sugar syrup and keep them on a plate and then pour rabri on top. So friends, our shahi tukda is ready to serve, so we will garnish it nicely by adding dry fruits and tooti frooti.
